A brand-new builder-grade home became the foundation for a highly personalized retreat, tailored to reflect the clients’ distinctive aesthetic and relaxed way of life. The design direction blends contemporary coastal sophistication with subtle references to the nearby waters, creating interiors that feel light, inviting, and connected to their surroundings. In the great room, a custom built-in anchors the space with clean architectural lines, floating cabinetry, and open shelving.
The installation offers both practical storage and an artful backdrop for displaying a thoughtfully curated collection of treasured objects. The den was conceived as a flexible, family-centered space that supports puzzle-making, creative projects, focused work, and everyday organization. A custom wall unit in a light, airy finish provides a refined focal point while displaying meaningful objects and keeping essential supplies neatly arranged.
By balancing open display with functional storage, the room remains visually calm, adaptable, and ready to support a variety of activities.
