The client’s primary bathroom dated back to the 1980s and was long passed its “use by date”. They longed for an open space, full of light, that was restful, relaxing and rejuvenating. The key components requested included a shower with a bench, body sprays, dual hand showers, double vanity, marble tiles and adequate storage. The objectives were met by gutting the room, taking everything back to the studs and completely reconfiguring the space. All the plumbing was relocated and modified to make the best use of the space. While the overall dimensions have not changed this primary bathroom has fulfilled the objectives; it is open and inviting, while providing a spa like atmosphere and experience for our clients.
